Driven by consecutive months of significant growth, the UK car market ended the first half with an increase of 18.4%, with 949,720 units sold. Sales of electric cars rose sharply by 32.7% to 152,968 units, representing a market share of 16.1%.
In this context, sales of :
ABARTH, down 70.18% to 294 units
ALFA ROMEO, down 10.20% to 704 units
CITROËN were up 3.12% to 15,586 units, giving a market share of 1.64%.
DS up 3.81% to 1,527 units
FIAT fell 17.66% to 9,381 units, giving a market share of 0.99%.
JEEP up 17.24% to 1,598 units
MASERATI 544 units
PEUGEOT are down 5.05% to 30,381 units for a market share of 3.20%.
VAUXHALL are up 3.57% to 49,505 units for a market share of 5.21%.
In total, Stellantis sold 109,520 units, a decrease of 1.62% and a market share of 11.53%. Once again, the Stellantis group is in difficulty, while the market is largely recovering, a fact that is rare enough to warrant highlighting, and Citroën is performing better than the group, with an increase in sales, albeit lower than that of the market.
