Stellantis delivers 30,000 vehicles to SIXT in five months

Stellantis and SIXT ahead of the Lancia Ypsilon

Stellantis and premium mobility service provider SIXT have announced impressive results after just five months of partnership. Since January 2024, around 30,000 vehicles have been delivered to SIXT, comprising more than 50 different models from nine iconic brands. This collaboration, marked by the delivery of a diverse range of vehicles, demonstrates the commitment of both companies to provide adapted and sustainable mobility solutions.

The SIXT fleet, which now includes a wide range of vehicles from city cars to SUVs, also includes electric models. These vehicles are equipped with the latest technologies, both in terms of software and infotainment, to meet today's customer demands for comfort and connectivity. The success of this first phase underlines the solidity of the partnership and points to the achievement of the ambitious target of 250,000 vehicles delivered by 2026.

A rental experience praised by customers

Since the start of this partnership, SIXT customers have driven more than 300 million kilometres in Stellantis vehicles, demonstrating the popularity of brands such as Citroën, Alfa Romeo, DS Automobiles, Fiat, Jeep®, Opel/Vauxhall, Peugeot and Maserati. There has been a great deal of positive feedback from users, indicating high levels of satisfaction with the rental experience and a strong intention to purchase these vehicles at the end of the rental period.

Uwe Hochgeschurtz, Director of Wider Europe Operations at Stellantis, commented on the successful partnership: "Through our long-term partnership with SIXT, we are delivering on our commitment to provide clean, safe and affordable mobility. It is with great pleasure that we can announce the delivery of the 30,000th vehicle to SIXT in 2024. This historic record for Stellantis in such a short time is a testament to our strong partnership. The icing on the cake was the all-new Lancia Ypsilon, a superb car that will spearhead Lancia's re-conquest of Europe. "

For his part, Konstantin SIXT, Co-CEO of SIXT, also underlined the importance of this collaboration: "We are delighted to see this successful partnership come to life and to welcome the 30,000th Stellantis to enrich our fleet. And that's just the beginning. I would like to thank the Stellantis and SIXT teams for their great cooperation. Our partnership with a major manufacturer like Stellantis underlines our ambitious growth strategy and our promise to offer customers the best choice for all their mobility needs. "

Towards sustainable mobility

Stellantis and SIXT are working together to make mobility more sustainable, in line with Stellantis' Dare Forward 2030 strategic plan. This plan aims to achieve 100% sales of battery electric vehicles (BEV) in Europe by 2030 and 50% for cars and light commercial vehicles in the United States. To achieve these ambitions, Stellantis plans to have a battery capacity of 400GWh, a key measure to ensure sufficient production of electric vehicles.

In addition to these ambitious goals, Stellantis is committed to becoming a carbon neutral company by 2038, with a single-digit percentage of residual emissions offset. This initiative reflects a clear desire to make a significant contribution to the fight against climate change, while offering innovative and sustainable mobility solutions.
