March 2023 Review - CHINA Car Market

In March, the Chinese car market grew by 8.2% to reach 2,017,000 units sold, driven by the price war launched by Tesla, with many manufacturers, including Citroën, offering attractive discounts that motivated consumers. However, despite this good result in March, the Chinese market is still struggling in the first quarter with a fall of 7.3% to 5,138,000 units sold.

In this context, sales of

  • Citroën, down 20.7% to 4,314 units

  • DS, down 70.4% to 68 units

  • PEUGEOT remained stable at 4,704 units.

In total, Stellantis sales are 9,086 units for a market share of... 0.45%.
