June 2023 review - UNITED KINGDOM Car market

In line with other European markets, the UK car market continues to recover, recording its tenth consecutive month of growth with 177,266 units sold, an increase of 25.8% compared to June 2022. Electric vehicles grew by 39.4% to 31,700 units, representing a market share of 17.9%, an increase of almost 2 points compared to last year.
In this context, sales of:
ABARTH fell 57.3% to 114 units
ALFA ROMEO, down 32.70% to 107 units
CITROËN were down 34.02% to 1,590 units, giving a market share of 0.9%.
DS down 21.43% to 275 units
FIAT fell 43.58% to 1,191 units, giving a market share of 0.67%.
JEEP are up 3.42% to 363 units
MASERATI are 85 units
PEUGEOT fell 13.61% to 4,679 units, giving a market share of 2.64%.
VAUXHALL are down 0.39% to 9,927 units for a market share of 5.60%.
In total, Stellantis sold 18,331 units, down 13.25% for a market share of 10.34%. An extremely difficult month for the Stellantis group, in which all its brands, with the exception of low-volume Jeep, saw their sales fall sharply, and Citroën was no exception.
