At the beginning of March, Stellantis continued to reorganise its teams in France, with significant changes at the top of several of its brands, including Citroën. These strategic moves are aimed at strengthening the group's position on the French market by adapting its management to current and future challenges.

Sébastien Caron appointed Director of Commercial Vehicles at Stellantis France

Just over two years after taking over the management of Citroën France, Sébastien Caron is moving up within the group by taking over the management of Pro One France, the company dedicated to Stellantis light commercial vehicles (LCVs). With more than 20 years of experience in distribution, logistics and sales within the company in France and Europe, he succeeds Rubina Rovere, who has been called to international duties.

To replace Sébastien Caron, Stellantis has appointed Édouard George as the new Director of Citroën France. An expert in the automotive sector, Édouard George has more than 20 years of experience in sales, marketing and performance management. He most recently held the position of Director of Demand and Commercial Performance within the Supply Chain for Stellantis Extended Europe.

A graduate of Sciences Po Lyon and emlyon Business School, Édouard George has spent his entire career within the Group, notably at PSA, Peugeot France and Stellantis. He has developed in-depth expertise in marketing and brand strategy, led the digital transformation of marketing campaigns, contributed to the launch of several iconic models and managed the manufacturer's Parisian subsidiaries. Recognised for his creativity and ability to anticipate market trends, his mission will be to strengthen the attractiveness of the Citroën brand and develop new innovative customer experiences.

Charles Peugeot at the helm of Opel France

At the same time, Charles Peugeot has been appointed Director of Opel France, succeeding Vincent Rolinet, who has been called to other positions in Europe. Having spent several years as a sales director throughout Europe and more recently in the United States, Charles Peugeot has in-depth knowledge of the industry and the French market.

Trained at SupMéca and the IFP School, Charles Peugeot has built a solid career at Citroën, DS and Groupe PSA, where he has led major strategic projects, from product development (such as the DS 3) to distribution network management. His successful career in France and abroad has given him a deep understanding of the automotive market and customer expectations. Recognised for his rigour, strategic vision and commitment, he now has a clear mission: to strengthen Opel's presence in France by focusing on innovation, service excellence and exemplary customer relations. With his strong leadership, Charles Peugeot will be able to make Opel shine in a rapidly changing sector.

Xavier Duchemin, Director of Stellantis France, thanked Rubina Rovere for her professionalism in consolidating LCV's leadership in France, adding: "With his expertise, Sébastien Caron will ensure the continuity and development of our LCV business in France. The arrival of Édouard George and Charles Peugeot, with their talents and experience, is a great asset for Stellantis in France. I look forward to welcoming them to the Management Committee.

Sébastien Caron leaves Citroën France after the successful launch of the new C3, leaving the brand in a much better position for Édouard George. The challenge for George will be to continue this positive momentum and to fulfil the many orders received, while strengthening Citroën's image on the French market. With these strategic changes, Stellantis reaffirms its desire to adapt to changes in the automotive market and to meet the expectations of its customers by placing experienced and visionary leaders at the head of its flagship brands.
