La nouvelle DS N°8 2025

Presented at the very end of last year, the new DS N°8 represents the top of the range for the DS brand and the beginning of a new era for the brand, as this N°8 is 100% electric. While the DS N°8 made its first public appearance at the Brussels Motor Show a few days ago, it is in Belgium that the brand is making the configurator available, the opportunity to discover the large sedan of the range in all its colours and, above all, to know its prices.

This configurator tells us that the DS N°8 range will be available in two versions, Pallas and Etoile, with different power ratings. The Pallas version will offer a power output of 230 or 245 hp, while the Etoile version will offer a choice of 230, 245 and 350 hp with four-wheel drive.

The DS N°8 is available in five body colours, with Alabaster White as standard, while the other four (Cristal Pearl, Palladium Grey, Perla Nera Black and Topaz Blue) are all optional at a cost of €980.

DS N°8 Pallas:

Priced from €58,025.99 with the 230 hp electric motor, the DS N°8 Pallas comes with 19-inch wheels as standard, as well as standard adaptive cruise control active up to 180 km/h, hands-free entry and start, dual-zone climate control, heated front seats and laminated side windows. The 230 hp version has a range of 571 km.

The 245 hp version is priced from €62,337.99 and is the only one to offer the longest range of 750 km. It offers the same equipment as the 230 hp version, but with greater power and range.

The interior is offered in a standard black environment called Noir Toile DS, but the brand also offers a magnificent white environment called Perle et Bleu éternel Toile DS, which costs just €392 and brings light into this cabin.

DS N°8 ETOILE:

There is no aesthetic difference between the Pallas and Étoile versions of the DS No. 8, apart from the 20-inch wheels, now called Lyrae, and above all the front end, which has a screen as a grille that lights up when the doors are opened and closed with the illuminated DS logo.

The Étoile version is the only one to offer three different power levels, ranging from 230 to 350 hp with four-wheel drive. Prices start at €65,081.99 for the 230 hp version, €69,981.97 for the 245 hp version and €73,901.99 for the 350 hp four-wheel drive version. The range is 545 km for the 230 hp version, 715 km for the 245 hp version and 664 km for the 350 hp version, the last two with the largest battery.

In addition to the Pallas trim level, the Étoile trim level offers level 2 autonomous driving with DS Drive Assist 2.0, electric heated mirrors, DS Neck Warmer heated seats, electric tailgate, 3-stage regenerative braking, DS Extended Head-Up Display and a digital interior rear-view mirror that transmits images from the reversing camera.

Inside, the Etoile trim offers three different ambiences, with the Eternal Blue Alcantara trim as standard, while two options are available: Basalt Black Nappa leather for €1,666 and Chestnut Brown Nappa leather for €1,960.

Finally, you can choose the black roof, the glass roof or the extended two-tone bodywork covering the bonnet and tailgate at a cost of €1,176, available on both the Pallas and Etoile versions.

In conclusion, the Belgian prices of the DS N°8 allow us to give a good indication of the prices that will be offered in France, the estimates of which during the presentation ranged from around 60,000 € for the basic version to 85,000 €, all options checked, we are well within these price ranges at these prices in Belgium. With this price range, the new DS N°8 is directly competing with the BMW i4, whose prices in France start at €61,050 for the basic version, but with 286 hp and a range of 485 km.
