It's been a few months since the new-look C4 was photographed during its development tests, but this latest series of photos allows us to discover for the first time the new features added to the interior of this third generation C4, as well as some interesting new features.
Although the redesigned C4 will be unveiled at the Paris Motor Show next October, you have already seen it thanks to our exclusive images, which have been showing you the main changes for the past year. The latest images, presented in August, are therefore as close as possible to what this new, restyled C4 will be, and I invite you to rediscover it here:
But the most important thing in these new photos is the interior of the restyled C4, which gives a glimpse of the changes the brand has made in this restyling, which is why it has been announced as important. Without much surprise, we find the new Advanced Comfort seats, which Citroën has been offering since the new C3 and which are already found on the new C3 Aircross and the restyled Berlingo. Having driven more than 3,000 km in this redesigned Berlingo, I can assure you that the comfort of the seats is truly excellent and should work wonders in this future redesigned C4, which has already been a reference. The other changes to the interior seem to be minor and Citroën will make modifications to the instrument cluster screen, which would be increased to 7 inches against 5 on the previous version, the brand having taken into account the criticisms as we can see in the photos.
On the outside, the new Citroën C4 2024 is still heavily camouflaged, but we know most of it. However, these new photos allow us to see new rims which adopt the principle of active rims for better aerodynamics and which here receive a new triangular rim centre of the most beautiful effect and which brings dynamism to the look of the C4. We can also see that the brand has redesigned the air bumps on the C4, offering much simpler but well-designed versions, and with the Colour Clips introduced on the new C3, it remains to be seen whether the latter will be interchangeable.
In conclusion, only a few more weeks to wait for the official launch of this restyled C4, which will be deeply transformed with a completely new front end and a rear end transformed by the addition of new lights that will lighten the rear of this atypical compact saloon with chevrons. With the new features brought to the interior, the new C4 will be at the best level to face the competition. With a growth of 8% since the beginning of the year in Europe, the C4 has sold more than 39,000 units, to which must be added the 7,172 C4 Xs, bringing the total sales of the C4 to 46,294 units, not far behind the Peugeot 308, whose sales are stagnating at 59,540 units. This major restyling of the C4, which should be accompanied by a significant revision and price reduction, will undoubtedly be an opportunity for the Chevrolet brand to do even better.
