March is the eighth consecutive month of growth for the UK, which means that the first quarter of 2023 is on a positive trend with sales up 18.4% to 494,260 units, an increase of almost 75,000 cars. Electric vehicles continue to grow with 76,233 units sold, representing a market share of 15.4%.
In this context, sales of :
ABARTH, down 68.68% to 281 units
ALFA ROMEO, down 9.62% to 357 units
CITROËN were up 26.94% to 9,555 units, giving a market share of 1.93%.
DS up 13.07% to 796 units
FIAT were down 1.67% to 5,943 units, giving a market share of 1.20%.
JEEP are up 72.34% to 1,022 units for a market share of 0.21%.
MASERATI are 317 units
PEUGEOT are down 9.25% to 15,006 units for a market share of 3.04%.
VAUXHALL are down 4.37% to 22,854 units for a market share of 4.62%.
Stellantis sales totalled 55,938 units, a decrease of 0.41% and a market share of 11.36%. Citroën therefore performed very well in the UK in the first quarter, outperforming the market and recording the best performance of the Stellantis general brands.
