DS is enriching the range of its large DS 9 saloon with a new top-of-the-range finish called Opéra Première. This new finish therefore caps the range but also presents some new aesthetics for the DS 9 with a new body color as well as a new interior atmosphere to make this DS 9 ultra chic à la française.
Based on the Rivoli + version, the DS 9 Opéra Première has a new exclusive interior designed and crafted by the men and women of the Colors and Materials team and the saddlers at DS Automobiles, based in the Paris region. Wanted to be the pinnacle of refinement, the DS 9 Opéra Première features Pearl Gray Nappa leather on its entire dashboard and door panels, punctuated with subtle Pearl Point topstitching. The seats with their iconic watch strap construction are covered in luminous Pearl Gray Nappa Leather in harmony with the decor.
Around the sunroof and on all the interior pillars, the Galet Gray of the Alcantara roof liner provides a soft and serene atmosphere, where the colors match each other with elegance.
This DS9 Opéra Première is also an opportunity for DS automobiles to offer a new color well known to DS models since it is the Whisper color in addition to the Black Perla Nera, Gray Platinum and Crystal Pearl. Both sophisticated and alluring, this Whisper shade offers a dark variation with subtle purple undertones to reveal a distinguished dress. Finally, the DS9 Opéra Première is also equipped with exclusive badges on the front doors.
This new finish is only available with the 250 or 360 horsepower plug-in hybrid engines. Depending on the version, the DS 9 will favor performance with the 360 version or autonomy with the E-Tense 250 version which promises up to 73 kilometers of autonomy or even 83 in the urban cycle only.
The DS9 Opéra Première is therefore based on the Rivoli + finish, in particular the DS Active Scan Suspension controlled suspension, and adds other standard technologies, including DS NIGHT VISION night vision, the Extended Security Pack, DS PARK PILOT, an electric sunroof with motorized blind, the FOCAL Electra Hi-Fi system, the DS Lounge Seat Pack and the alarm with deadlocking of doors and electric child safety.
Orders have been open since October 5 with prices starting at €76,800 for the DS 9 Opéra Première E-Tense 250 up to €86,650 for the DS9 Opéra Première in the E-Tense 360 version.
