DS presents The Art of Travel, a documentary that looks back at the creation of the brand

Since its creation, DS automobiles has insisted on the concept of travel, with the desire to offer its customers a unique travel experience. The brand therefore wanted to show the genesis of its creation and explain what it means by the concept of travel through a documentary that will be broadcast on the Amazon Prime platform from today.

Travelling and being transported... how, why? When countries reopened their borders after the pandemic, the question of travel, its forms, its pleasures and its evolution arose.

What is the definition of luxury travel? How do we find the authenticity and personalisation that define a new form of unforgettable experience? Globetrotting journalist Seamus Kearney went to meet the men and women who make travel an art.

In a 46-minute documentary airing on Prime Video from 11 May, he shares his findings from authentic journeys. Seamus Kearney explores the future of luxury travel, taking in the places and the moments aboard the New DS 7, in a hot air balloon and in the carriages of the Orient Express.

A freelance journalist with dual Irish and New Zealand citizenship, Seamus Kearney has spent the last thirty years travelling the world. For The Art of Travel - A French Reinvention, he took the time to discover unique places and extraordinary stories of terroir.

At the wheel of the new DS 7, he immerses himself in the French art of travel through his encounters. His journey is punctuated by the interventions of Béatrice Foucher, Managing Director of DS Automobiles, and Ramy Fischler, future designer, who highlight the evolution of travel and the experience of local authenticity in the art of taking time.
