Some time after its arrival on the DS 4, DS 7 and DS 9, DS is launching its new Esprit de Voyage collection on its small urban SUV, the DS 3. The arrival of this special series on the DS 3 continues DS' objective of highlighting its expertise while evoking Paris, the symbol of French luxury with which DS wants to be associated.
The interior of this Esprit de Voyage collection is where DS has applied all its expertise to bring all the automotive luxury to the DS 3. For example, the seats feature a bi-material treatment with Luxembourg fabric combined with Pebble Grey Nappa leather, with the option of Basalt Black Grained leather. The front door sills also bear the Esprit de Voyage signature with this emblematic map and the matting is in Pearl Gray to match the interior. The Galet Gray headliner further enhances the clarity of the interior. The bright interior is further enhanced by the Galet Gray door finishes.
Externally, the Esprit de Voyage signature is applied to the front doors and the mirror caps feature a special laser-engraved pattern designed to evoke movement and aerodynamics, symbolising the journey. The front grille features DS WINGS in Gloss Black with a Gloss Black grille surmounted by chrome tassels. The 18-inch KYOTO wheels, now reserved for Esprit de Voyage, have an Anthracite Gray diamond finish with matt lacquer.
Based on the core Rivoli range, the DS3 Esprit de Voyage features hands-free entry and start, DS Iris System multimedia system with connected 3D navigation, and equipment packs including heated front seats, front centre armrest, frameless electrochromic interior mirrors, sun visors with concealable LED-lit vanity mirrors, footwell lighting, dark-tinted rear windows and LED tail lights.
This DS 3 Esprit de Voyage is available with two thermal engines (130 hp petrol and diesel) and the 156 hp E-Tense version. Nine colour combinations are available, with a two-tone Platinum Grey, Ice Cream White, Crystal Pearl, Artense Grey, Lacquered Grey or Diva Red treatment combined with a Perla Nera Black roof, or a single colour Platinum Grey, Perla Nera Black or Ice White.
