Citroën is gradually extending the marketing of the restyled C5 Aircross since, after its arrival in Japan, the brand's large SUV is arriving in New Zealand where, for the first time, it will be offered with a plug-in hybrid engine, becoming the first electrified Citroën in the country.
Only marketed in Shine finish, the new Citroën C5 Aircross will be offered in two engines, a 180hp petrol engine and a 225hp plug-in hybrid. The restyled C5 Aircross offers, of course, the same modifications as in Europe, including the new 10-inch touch screen, enhanced and advanced, unlike in Japan where this screen is not offered.
Arek Zywot, commercial director of Citroën in New Zealand declares "The new C5 Aircross Facelift has a more assertive and dynamic style, while remaining faithful to Citroën's unique DNA of design, comfort and innovation. An excellent exterior design , next-generation Advanced Comfort seats and being the first Citroën to introduce semi-autonomous driving with Lane Positioning Assist are just some of its highlights" and continues "Citroën has big aspirations in New Zeeland. The new C5 Aircross Facelift PHEV is just the start with more electrified, fuel efficient and government subsidized models to come. If you're looking for a cool-looking midsize SUV with a practical and comfortable interior, this is your car. It's the best-in-class comfort experience on the market."
The C5 Aircross has five colors to choose from (1 white, 1 black, 2 gray as well as the new Metallic Blue) and will be offered from $58,900 (€35,150) in the thermal version and $79,900 (€47,650 ) in hybrid version.
