The Berlingo is a very important vehicle for Citroën in Japan, accounting for almost 50% of the brand's registrations, so Citroën is keen to revitalise the range of its flagship model. After the Trico range, Citroën is now offering a new special edition in Japan, the Edition Noire, which was launched on 18 May.
The Berlingo is therefore a valuable vehicle for Citroën's development in Japan, hence the multiple versions offered by the brand to reach as many people as possible. After the 5-seater version, the Berlingo is now offered in Japan in a 7-seater version to meet the needs of consumers looking for something new.
This Black Edition completes the Berlingo range, which for the occasion has been given an all-black Perla Nera body, a colour that has not been offered in the Citroën range in Japan, making it an important innovation for the brand.
In addition to the body colour, the Berlingo Edition Noire is also equipped with black aluminium wheels and only the parts on the coloured one-offs (fog lights and airbump) are given a different colour, in this case a bronze anodised finish, which adds a bit of pizzazz and a high-end touch.
The Citroën Berlingo Edition Noire will be available in 5- and 7-seater versions with a single engine, the 1.5 HDi 130 equipped with an 8-speed automatic gearbox, at the following prices
Berlingo Black Edition 5-seater: 4,337,500 yen or €29,030
Berlingo Black Edition 7-seater: 4,543,500 Yen or €30,400
