With the new C3, Citroën is keeping its promise to make electric cars accessible to all, thanks to a very well-placed selling price. However, the brand's aim is not only to offer a competitive price, but also an electric car that is easy to live with, easy to drive and makes electric mobility a pleasure. This is the purpose of the Citroën Drive All Electric tour that the brand has been conducting in Italy over the past few months.
The electric car has to be tried to understand the advantage of electric driving and to taste the smoothness of driving thanks to the absence of noise and vibrations. With this in mind, Citroën organised a tour to discover and test the ë-C4 and Ami in around ten of the most beautiful places in the Bel Paese, from Trieste to Turin or from Genoa to Naples. This tour, called Citroën Drive All Electric, met with a warm welcome and great curiosity. At each stop, thanks to the contribution of local dealers, the public was able to discover at first hand the latest developments in Citroën's electrified range and experience a zero-emission drive in the ë-C4 and Citroën AMI, accompanied by a professional driver. In total, more than 1,700 contacts were registered, including prospective customers and test drives, confirming the public's great interest in discovering and trying out the new electric motors. In fact, more than 400 people took a test drive in one of the two zero-emission models, all of whom appreciated the 100% electric driving comfort.
In addition, Citroën advisors at the ten sites visited during the tour presented all the advantages of the innovative CITROËN ËASY GO leasing solution, which finally makes electric mobility accessible to everyone. The EasyGO plan, for example, makes it possible to purchase a 100% electric Citroën Ë-C4 from €199 per month, with a €3,300 down payment and wallbox included. Finally, the participants of the "Citroën Drive all Electric" tour were able to enjoy an exciting brand experience thanks to the numerous activities and gadgets on offer, which allowed them to discover all the characteristics of the cars and the brand's world electric version, addressing the very topical issue of air quality in urban centres.
The success of the first leg of the tour, with more than 1,700 contacts and 400 tests, has naturally led the brand to launch a second leg, which will run from March to May and will focus on the new Citroën C3. In total, this new leg of the Citroën Drive All Electric tour will visit around ten cities, allowing Italian consumers to preview the new C3 electric, which is particularly accessible in Italy.
