Citroën has clearly positioned Turkey as one of its most important markets, harboring significant ambitions for the region. The brand aims to achieve a record in sales there in 2025, an ambitious goal supported by the long-awaited launch of the new C3 and C3 Aircross, which are now open for order. This availability marks a decisive turning point, enabling Citroën to accelerate its commercial momentum and strengthen its presence in this rapidly growing territory.
The Citroën C3 makes a strong entry into the turkish market
After an extended period of anticipation, primarily due to production constraints and the prioritization of European volumes, the new Citroën C3 has finally been launched in the Turkish market. With production now fully operational, Citroën can fully implement its strategy in Turkey with this essential model.
The new C3 is offered with powertrains tailored to the market's needs. In addition to internal combustion options, the 100% electric version, the ë-C3, is also available. The ë-C3 is equipped with a 44 kWh LFP battery pack, offering a WLTP urban range of up to 446 km, which represents excellent performance for daily and urban commutes. It benefits from 100 kW DC fast charging capability, allowing the battery to be recharged from 20% to 80% in just 26 minutes, a significant advantage for practical use. The ë-C3's electric motor delivers 83 kW (113 hp) and is paired with a fully automatic transmission, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable driving experience.
The new C3 is available in two trim levels: Plus and Max. These versions are designed to offer an optimal balance between features and aesthetics. The launch price of the new C3 in Turkey starts at 1,099,900 TL, which is approximately 24,200 euros (based on an exchange rate of 1 TRY = 0.022 EUR). These prices position the new C3 competitively in the city car segment, aiming to attract a wide range of customers.
The Citroën C3 Aircross: the SUV offensive for Turkey
Continuing its strategy, Citroën is also introducing the new C3 Aircross in Turkey, a model that strengthens the brand's offering in the highly popular compact SUV segment. Building on the qualities that made its predecessor successful, this new generation of the C3 Aircross is ready to meet the expectations of Turkish consumers looking for versatility and modernity.
The new Citroën C3 Aircross is offered with a choice of varied powertrains to suit user preferences. It is available with a 136 hp 48V hybrid powertrain, which combines efficiency and performance, as well as a fully electric version, highlighting Citroën's commitment to sustainable mobility. This diversified offering allows it to cater to different sensitivities regarding consumption and environmental footprint.
Just like the new C3, the C3 Aircross is available in two trim levels, Plus and Max, offering well-equipped and attractive configurations. The starting price of the new Citroën C3 Aircross in Turkey is set at 1,249,900 TL, which is equivalent to approximately 27,500 euros (based on an exchange rate of 1 TRY = 0.022 EUR). This competitive pricing aims to make the C3 Aircross accessible to a broad range of customers, thus consolidating Citroën's presence in the SUV segment in Turkey.
The year 2025 promises to be pivotal for Citroën in Turkey, with high sales ambitions. The long-awaited availability of the new C3 and C3 Aircross is a fundamental element of this strategy. These two models, through their versatility and modernity, are expected to significantly boost the brand's sales in the second half of the year. The clear objective is to reach and even surpass 70,000 sales, a figure that would mark a resounding success for Citroën in this market. This product offensive, combined with a well-established commercial strategy, positions Citroën for sustained growth and a strengthening of its position in Turkey, demonstrating the strategic importance the manufacturer places on this country.
