Stellantis simplifies connected services: focus on Connect ONE and Connect PLUS

2026 Stellantis connected services

The digital evolution at the heart of the automotive experience

The automotive industry is undergoing an unprecedented transformation where the electric motor is no longer the only revolution. The future of mobility is now inevitably linked to digital services and integrated connectivity, which are set to become major growth drivers for manufacturers. With this in mind, the Stellantis group has announced a significant evolution of its digital ecosystem. The goal is clear: to simplify the user experience by streamlining offers while enriching the technological content available to drivers. This new software architecture aims to make technology more accessible and intuitive, turning the car into a true connected companion capable of anticipating user needs.

Connect ONE: peace of mind guaranteed for ten years

At the heart of this simplification is the Connect ONE pack. This service now forms the foundation of the connected offering for all Stellantis group brands. Its standout feature is its longevity: it is included in the vehicle's purchase price and remains active for 10 years. This pack ensures essential safety and remote management functions without any additional cost to the owner. For all brands, Connect ONE now integrates the e-Remote Control service. This is particularly valuable for owners of electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles, as it allows them to manage battery charging or program cabin thermal pre-conditioning directly from a smartphone.

However, Stellantis allows its brands some flexibility to enhance this common foundation. For instance, while the base is identical for everyone, Peugeot and Opel have chosen to go further by integrating the e-ROUTES intelligent planner directly into the Connect ONE pack. This strategy allows these two brands to offer an electric-specific connected navigation solution without an additional initial subscription, highlighting a commitment to reassuring customers about range management from the moment of purchase.

Connect PLUS: enhanced connectivity and security

For users seeking a more immersive experience, Stellantis offers the Connect PLUS pack. Unlike the ONE pack, this operates on a subscription model after an initial trial period. This second service level brings major innovations that strengthen on-board safety and entertainment. Notable additions include the integration of Amazon Alexa voice services. Thanks to the "Alexa Vehicle to Home" function, drivers can now control their smart home devices (lighting, gates, heating) from their vehicle, creating a seamless bridge between home and the road.

Security is also a priority with the introduction of Stolen Vehicle Tracking Assistance. This tracking system allows for the precise location of the vehicle in the event of theft, greatly facilitating police intervention. By activating a secure tracking mode, the owner increases their chances of a quick recovery. Stellantis specifies that the integration of these new services into the Connect PLUS pack comes at no additional cost, maintaining a consistent pricing policy despite the addition of high-value features.

e-ROUTES: the intelligent co-pilot for electric mobility

The e-ROUTES by Free2move Charge trip planner represents one of the most practical advancements in facilitating the transition to electric vehicles. Although Stellantis gives each brand the freedom to include it in the free Connect ONE pack, Citroën has chosen not to include it by default, unlike its cousins Peugeot and Opel. Nevertheless, this tool remains a centerpiece of the Stellantis ecosystem. e-ROUTES acts as an intelligent co-pilot, accessible via mirroring systems (Android Auto or Apple CarPlay) or directly through the integrated navigation system depending on the model.

The main benefit of this planner lies in its direct connection to vehicle data. Unlike a standard navigation app, e-ROUTES knows battery charge status, actual power consumption, and driving behavior in real-time. By combining this information with traffic data and charging station availability, it optimizes trips to reduce wait times at stations and eliminate "range anxiety." The interface has also been optimized to provide a clearer view of traffic conditions and available charging points.

Towards a new era of on-board services

In conclusion, Stellantis is taking a logical step by structuring its offer around two clear packs. By guaranteeing access to basic services for a decade with Connect ONE, the group provides welcome peace of mind to its customers. The enrichment of the Connect PLUS pack with technologies like Amazon Alexa or theft protection demonstrates that the vehicle is becoming an extension of the personal digital environment, without impacting the user's budget. More than ever, the next competitive battle will be fought in the arena of connected services. By taking the lead in improving ergonomics and the depth of its solutions, Stellantis is well-positioned to support drivers through an inseparable energy and digital transition.
