As in France, the Spanish car market continued its upward trend in September with a nice rise of 12.7% for 67,240 units sold. The September increase is therefore the second consecutive increase for the Spanish market, a sign that the peak of the shortage of components has passed even if it still constrains production.
In this context, sales of:
ALFA ROMEO are up 66.4% to 253 units
CITROËN are up 36% to 4,048 units for a market share of 6.02%
DS are up 34.2% to 314 units
FIAT are down 15.2% to 2,422 units for a market share of 3.59%

In total, Stellantis sales are 13,492 units, up 1.19% for a market share of 20.01%. Citroën was one of the big winners in September and posted one of the biggest increases at this level of volume. The brand ranks seventh in sales, just behind Peugeot.
On the model side, the C3 is the brand's best-selling car with 1,495 units and ranks 5th in overall sales and second in its segment. The C4 sold 1,142 units, an increase of 29.77% and, in Spain, almost as well as in France, a sign that it is in France that the problem arises. Finally, the Citroën C5 X sold 1668 units, better than the Audi A4 and the BMW 3 Series but less than the Peugeot 508 (241 units)
