The Eiffel Tower illuminated with the Citroën logo

Rétromobile will open its doors from 5 to 9 February 2025 at the Porte de Versailles in Paris, bringing together enthusiasts and the curious around automotive icons. This edition will be an opportunity for L'Aventure Peugeot Citroën DS to highlight the rich heritage of French brands, with a particular focus on Citroën and its emblematic theme: "Citroën, c'est à Paris".

Citroën and Peugeot: an essential presence in Hall 3.

Citroën will occupy a central place in this hall, where L'Aventure Citroën will join forces with L'Amicale Citroën & DS France to offer a journey through the brand's history. Visitors will be able to discover a varied exhibition including legendary models such as the CX Limousine Turbo 2, a 2CV Spécial, a 5HP Trèfle and a Traction Avant 15-6H owned by General de Gaulle. The theme "Citroën, it's in Paris" will be illustrated by a spectacular replica of the Eiffel Tower, a tribute to the illuminations orchestrated by André Citroën for the 100th anniversary of the Tower.

The partner clubs will also be presenting other exceptional vehicles, such as the DS 21 "Chamonix 1972" or a modern electric Citroën Ami, a nod to more recent models. Finally, several iconic models (GS, CX, XM, BX, C5) will be on display at the Youngtimers Magazine stand.

Peugeot will also be present with a selection of iconic vehicles presented by L'Aventure Peugeot and its affiliated clubs. A Peugeot 204, a 404, a 504 Riviera and a 406 Coupé will illustrate the innovation and performance of the Lion brand. The 2000 Formula 1 Prost-Peugeot AP03 will also be on display in Hall 2.

70 years of the Citroën DS: a prestigious anniversary

The 2025 edition of Rétromobile also marks the 70th anniversary of the Citroën DS, which was unveiled at the Paris Motor Show under the vaults of the Grand Palais on 6 October 1955. A true masterpiece of engineering and design, the Citroën DS revolutionised the automobile thanks to its comfort, safety and avant-garde aesthetics. An artistic and technical symbol, it remains one of the most iconic cars in history.

To celebrate this anniversary, DS Automobiles will be exhibiting five exceptional models in Hall 1, testimony to the unique heritage of the Citroën DS. These include a 1960 ID 19 Confort, a 1967 semi-open DS 21 Pallas, a 1972 DS 21 Prestige, a 1975 DS 23 ie Pallas and a DS 21 V6 Maserati.

The event will also mark the rebirth of the DS Ballons, an iconic 1959 advertising creation by Claude Puech, which has been restored thanks to an ambitious educational project in partnership with GARAC (National Automobile Trade School).

Rétromobile 2025 promises to be an unmissable event for all car enthusiasts. In addition to the models on display, the Peugeot Citroën DS Adventure will allow visitors to discover the many facets of French automotive heritage, such as spare parts for classic cars, certifications and exclusive events.

With the theme "Citroën, c'est à Paris", the 70th anniversary of the legendary Citroën DS and many other surprises, this edition will offer a fascinating journey through the history and innovation of the French automobile. Visitors will have the unique opportunity to rediscover legends and learn more about a passion that spans generations.
