New Citroën C3 Aircross: surprised again in tests in India

The new Citroën C3 Aircross seen on the street in gray color and monotone bodywork

The second vehicle in the C-cubed program, the new Citroën C3 Aircross will enter a difficult segment where competition is fierce. After its presentation a little over a month and a half ago, Citroën's new SUV is continuing its tests on Indian roads, which gives us new opportunities to see it.

Until now only offered in a two-tone version, this new series of photos shows the new Citroën C3 Aircross in a one-tone version where roof and bodywork share the same color. First observation: this new C3 Aircross looks great without the two-tone and in this gray body color. The front end manages to cleverly erase the C3's headlamps and its bonnet to offer a personality specific to the C3 Aircross which reinforces its SUV and adventurer appearance. We also note that the black grille is substantial as well as the certain affiliation with the restyled C5 Aircross.

Second observation: if it generally takes up some of the trends observed on the C3, the much more worked lines of this new C3 Aircross make it much more modern with very generous wings, especially at the front, which widen it visually.

Third observation: the mirrors must be black as standard as can be seen in the photo at the top of the article, it will be possible that they will be white when the roof is also white.

The new Citroën C3 Aircross takes up the principle of the lights of the oli concept

This new series of photos also allows you to see the rear, which we had already been able to see recently, and which clearly highlights its parallel with the lights of the oli concept using the same principle, namely two horizontal LED bars framing a vertical brake light. This photo also allows you to see how much the rear has been worked on to reduce the impression of heaviness that can emerge there, given the need to offer maximum volume for the 7-seater version. The brand's teams came to create areas of light on the bumper which visually widen the car in order to reduce the perception of volumes.

This new C3 Aircross was relatively well received when the brand revealed the official photos and the new SUV seems to live up to its promises when in natural light and in mono-tone bodywork, which seems to bode well for its career. Citroën will unveil its prices at the start of the school year, which should be at the heart of the market both in India and in Latin America, where this new C3 Aircross will help the C3 to develop the brand's sales.
