While the Indian version has been on sale since 15 October, the Brazilian version of the new Citroën C3 Aircross has still not been launched, more than six months after its presentation. This will happen this Wednesday, 29th November, when the brand will begin marketing its new urban SUV, which has solid foundations for success in Latin America.
Although the marketing has taken a little longer than expected, the brand has not been idle and has made several announcements about its new C3 Aircross, in particular that it will be available with a single 130 bhp engine called Turbo 200. Citroën has also revealed some of the features of its latest SUV, including a remote-controlled air conditioning system for rear-seat passengers, who will be able to enjoy a welcome breath of fresh air. This air-conditioning system is one of the innovations of this latest C3 Aircross, which makes it unique on the Brazilian market with the 7-seater version, which does not exist among its competitors, with the exception of the Chevrolet Spin, which is more MPV than SUV.
But this time the announcement is official and it is this Wednesday, 29 November, that Citroën will officially launch the marketing of the new C3 Aircross, some thirteen months after the launch of the last C3, more than 30,000 units sold since then. The new C3 Aircross is the second stage of the Citroën rocket, which should allow the brand to develop its sales in Latin America, making it less dependent on the stagnating European market and allowing it to achieve sustainable growth by seeking to establish itself in markets with high potential. This is the case for India and Asia, but also for South America, which is the third growth engine for Stellantis, of which Citroën is one of the spearheads.
The second model in the C-Cubed range, the new C3 Aircross will soon be launched in Brazil, where it will support the latest C3 in the brand's sales growth. Arriving in a very competitive segment, the new C3 Aircross has significant advantages, starting with its comfort and its innovations. It remains to be seen how Citroën has designed the range to allow each customer to find the version that best suits their needs and, above all, the prices, which should make this C3 Aircross one of the most accessible urban SUVs on the market.
