A few weeks after the opening of official orders almost everywhere in Europe, Citroën launches the launch campaign for the new C3 on the theme of "Revolution", in which the brand, in collaboration with its communications agency, reinterprets the French Revolution to adapt it to the new C3.
Launched on 23 February, the campaign for the new electric C3 heralds the commercial launch of this fourth-generation model that aims to make electric cars accessible to all. The first car in segment B to be sold for less than €25,000, excluding subsidies, the electric C3 is unique in its segment with a 100% electric engine of 113 hp and a 44 kWh LFP battery that gives it a range of 320 km.
This new C3 is intended to revolutionise the automobile, just as the 2Cv or the Type A did in their day, with the aim of making the electric car accessible to everyone. Naturally, this is the theme on which the brand has based its launch campaign, using the theme of the French Revolution, which I invite you to discover in the television commercial and in the posters that have appeared almost everywhere in the French press.
Here is the television commercial with the theme "Let's be reasonable, ask for the impossible":
This television campaign is accompanied by 4 visuals with impertinent slogans, aping the Revolution by distorting certain slogans. We find "Liberty, equality, electricity" or even "1789: storming of the Bastille. 2024: Sockets for all.
Here are the visuals:
