Unveiled last April, the new Citroën C3 Aircross is about to be launched on the Brazilian market, with a single engine and three versions due to go on sale next October. A limited range, but in reality a wider choice thanks to the 5 and 7 seater versions available.
The new C3 Aircross is the second stage of the rocket that will allow Citroën to increase its international sales and become a major brand, especially in Latin America, a strategic region for the company. As with the C3, the future C3 Aircross has the ambition to be accessible, which is why the starting price of this new urban SUV could be 110,000 Reals or 20,400€ with a range that would extend to 145,000 Reals or 26,900€.
However, the standard equipment would not be indecent since the new C3 Aircross could be equipped, from the first level of finish, with the 10-inch touch screen, a 7-inch digital instrument cluster while the rims will be 16-inch with hubcaps and the basic configuration would include 5 places.
The range would be articulated around three levels of finishes: Live, Feel and Shine, which could be linked to packs that improve equipment or the number of seats. The range would thus be composed as follows:Live : 5 places
Live Pack: 5 or 7 seats
Feel: 5 Seater
Feel Pack: 7-seater
Shine: 7 seats
The entire range of the new C3 Aircross will be equipped with a single 1.0 Turbo petrol engine with 125 bhp when running on petrol and 130 bhp on ethanol, which will only be mated to a CVT automatic gearbox simulating 7 speeds.
The new C3 Aircross will therefore arrive on the Brazilian market in the second half of the year, more likely in October, when it will help the C3 to develop the brand's sales in line with the Citroën4ALL plan, which aims to make Citroën a major brand in the Americas. Latin. With a single engine and three versions, the range will be quite simple, although the packages will make it wider and therefore able to meet the needs of consumers.
