Future redesigned Citroën C4 Cactus: presentation on 5 July

Profile of the Citroën C4 Cactus, whose restyling will be unveiled on 5 July 2023.

The Citroën C4 Cactus, for a long time the only vehicle in the range in Brazil, has seen the arrival of the latest C3, which has quickly become the brand's best-selling vehicle. Following the presentation of the C3 Aircross, which will be launched in the second half of the year, the C4 Cactus will benefit from a small update, first seen in Argentina, and this time it will be available throughout Latin America.

Citroën had announced the restyling of the C4 Cactus with the presentation in Argentina of a new Feel finish, which included very slight aesthetic changes on the outside, mainly carried by new decals and new colours, but heavier on the outside. interior with new seats and a completely revised centre console. This new Feel finish therefore announced the restyling that the C4 Cactus would undergo and of which Citroën has just announced the presentation date, namely 5 July.

So what can we expect from this presentation if everything has already been revealed? Well, not everything has been unveiled because the new C4 Cactus will present other innovations, probably on the upper levels. One of these main novelties is the adoption of a 10-inch multimedia screen, similar to that of the C3 and C3 Aircross, which will allow the brand's small SUV to receive Apple CarPlay and Android Auto wirelessly, as well as, probably, an updated multimedia system that will bring a lot of modernity to the C4 Cactus and strengthen its competitiveness in a very competitive segment where it was racing in the lead until 2022, especially in Argentina.

The other changes will mainly concern the adoption of a new body colour, in addition to the Artense Grey offered on the Feel version, which will probably be Black Perla Nera, while some cosmetic adjustments could also see the light of day.

To sum up, the C4 Cactus is preparing to enter the Latin American market with a very light restyling, and will have to contend with internal competition from the new C3 Aircross, which is much bigger, more spacious and could be sold at a lower price. However, the C4 Cactus retains an attractive appearance and a compact format that facilitates urban travel, and the slight modifications, including the adoption of the new 10-inch screen, will bring a welcome modernity to it in the face of increasingly fierce competition. We will have to wait a few days, until 5 July, to see all the changes made to this C4 Cactus and, above all, whether they will allow it to regain its place in the sun in Latin America.
