While Citroën has presented a concept version very close to the production version of the next C5 Aircross, the latter has been spotted continuing its development tests a few weeks before its full presentation, an opportunity to discover new details about the second generation of the brand's large SUV.
The development tests for the next generation of the C5 Aircross are probably continuing in the far north, where the brand is working on the electric version that is currently being recharged, a new version that will appear for the first time on the C5 Aircross.
In truth, this series of photos doesn't reveal much about the brand's future large SUV, but it does reveal some small details that confirm what the patent images revealed, particularly regarding the famous rear lights.
In this series of photos, we can see two small LED bars at the level of the rear lights and which seem to indicate the location of the indicators and reversing light, which would be tinted black and therefore almost invisible, it will be necessary to see on the official photos. For the rest, the vehicle is very camouflaged, especially at the rear, which seems to be the most original part of this second generation, but the concept and the photos of the patent have given us a good overview, there is no need to come back to it. These photos also allow us to confirm a very smooth front part on this future C5 Aircross, with very few roughnesses allowing a better guidance of the air flows, while the bonnet reveals two concave shapes in a spirit similar to those of the current generation.
In conclusion, the future C5 Aircross is fast approaching, its development photos confirm it and it could even arrive a little earlier than the initial information predicting a presentation in June, we will see. In any case, this future generation seems very promising and very faithful to what the concept had shown us.
