Like all the major motor shows in Europe, the Mondial de l'Automobile has experienced some difficulties in recent years linked to the place of the car in our societies. After a successful edition in 2022, despite a reduced format, the Paris Motor Show will return for a new edition from 15 to 20 October 2024, an edition dedicated to the love of the automobile and in which Citroën will have a privileged place.
After being absent in 2022, even though the brand presented the oli concept, Citroën will indeed be present at the Paris Motor Show this time with a full programme, a sign of the product offensive that the brand is currently launching in Europe in order to regain lost market share. In fact, starting with the new C3, the renewal of the Citroën range is underway and will intensify in the coming months, so that by 2022, the entire range will bear the new logo inaugurated by Oli.
Citroën intends to take advantage of this major event to draw attention to itself and turn the page on recent months in which the news has not been kind to the brand. In particular, the Paris Motor Show will be the occasion for the first public appearance of the new C3 Aircross, which will also arrive at the brand's French dealerships during the upcoming Open Days on 12 and 13 October. Of course, the new C3 will also attract visitors who will be able to see it for the first time, even though it has been in dealerships for a few weeks, and these two major innovations will undoubtedly ensure that Citroën's stand is well attended.
But Citroën will go much further than these last two new products and will take advantage of this Paris Motor Show, where it will be the only one to represent Stellantis with Peugeot, to highlight a range that will be more than 80% renewed. Indeed, in addition to the C3 and C3 Aircross, Citroën should take advantage of the World Cup to present the restyling of the C4 and C4 success, should present a new face at the Parisian show.
In conclusion, the 2002 Paris Rally was a great success and the organisers hope to do even better this year. They will be able to count on the presence of many brands, starting with Citroën, which will seize the opportunity to present a revitalised range ready to conquer the public. After the entire Utility range, the VP range will be almost entirely renewed for this Paris World Cup, where the brand intends to do its utmost to showcase its new image and new products.
