Citroën is offering a real fireworks display in Japan: after the Berlingo and the C3 Aircross, the brand's large SUV, the C5 Aircross, is now getting a new, very exclusive range based on the plug-in hybrid engine.
In fact, Citroën is presenting the C5 Aircross Black Edition just a few weeks after unveiling a limited edition of the Berlingo with the same name. Like the Berlingo, the C5 Aircross Black Edition has a black Perla Nera paint finish on the body and roof, which is complemented by black wheels exclusive to this version with 19-inch wheels instead of the standard 18-inch wheels.
Based on the Shine finish, the C5 Aircross Black Edition is strictly identical in terms of standard equipment including Nappa leather seats on the upper backs and even heated seats. This limited edition only brings aesthetic changes and only to the exterior since the interior is, again, strictly identical to the Shine finish on which the Black Edition is based.
The C5 Aircross is available with a single engine, a 220 hp plug-in hybrid, but above all it promises to be extremely rare, with only 30 units planned for the whole of Japan. A very limited and exclusive series reserved for those who want a C5 Aircross just for themselves, the brand is charging 6,740,000 yen or €42,800, a much more competitive price than that charged in France.
