Citroën C4 Cactus: the black limited edition officially unveiled

The black Citroën C4 Cactus limited edition in Brazil seen from three quarters ahead

A few days ago I told you about the arrival in Brazil of a special range based on the updated C4 Cactus. Today, Citroën officially unveils this special series, called Black Limited Edition, which allows the C4 Cactus to reinforce its style and equipment.

As previously mentioned, this limited edition emphasises black to reinforce the style of the C4 Cactus and is based on the Shine Pack finish which it enhances. On the outside, the Limited Edition Noir features exclusive decals running lengthways across the body, side mouldings and fog lamp frames painted in gloss black, "Black" decals on the bonnet, C-pillars and bonnet sill. The limited edition also features 17-inch Cross wheels painted in gloss black. These styling elements reinforce the personality of the brand's urban SUV and make it even more dynamic.

The interior also evolves with eco-leather seats with exclusive upholstery, applications on the dashboard and personalised floor mats. These new features complement the elements introduced in the 2024 range, such as the 10-inch Citroën Connect touchscreen with Android Auto and Apple Carplay wireless connectivity, an induction charger, new USB ports and an enlarged storage compartment between the front seats with an adjustable cover. Note the stickers on the dashboard, which play on the herringbone pattern and feature a thin stripe that seems to be in Infrared Red, a specific Citroën colour, as offered by the brand on the C5 X Hypnos.

As expected, the C4 Cactus Limited Edition Black is based on the high-end Shine Pack version equipped with a 173 bhp 1.6 THP engine mated to a 6-speed sequential automatic transmission. The C4 Cactus Limited Edition Black also comes as standard with the exclusive Grip Control system, which improves stability and traction control with Hill Start Assist by modifying engine parameters to enable the SUV to overcome most obstacles on different types of surfaces, both on-road and off-road. The list of standard equipment also includes six airbags, lane departure warning, automatic emergency braking and four-wheel disc brakes.

The new limited edition Citroën C4 Cactus Noir SUV, priced at R$ 130,990 or € 24,500, goes on sale today at all the brand's dealerships in Brazil. This limited edition, for which Citroën is not disclosing the number of units produced, allows the C4 Cactus to make the news and gain in style and dynamism. This limited edition goes further than the rumours suggested and that's a good thing, the application of stickers on the body is surprising, we are no longer used to it in Europe, but it has its effect.
