Citroën C4 Cactus redesigned: more comfortable, more connected and more accessible

After a first revelation in the form of a new paint job in Argentina, Citroën now lifts the veil on the newly restyled C4 Cactus in Latin America. This restyling, quite light on the outside, is more important on the inside, with the aim of raising the level of comfort and technology, while making the brand's small SUV more accessible.

So, as in Argentina, the exterior changes are essentially limited to new body colours, including this Artense Grey that was previously only available on the X-series. This new colour reflects the new tinting available on the air dams and fog lamp surrounds, which take on an orange hue called Orange Pearl, which can also be found on the decals on the rear quarter panel or the tailgate and which from now on identify the model and version.

The exterior modifications are also limited to new wheels, available in 16 and 17 inches, for a more modern style and that's it. Extremely minor changes to the exterior of this restyled C4 Cactus, which takes the name of a new vintage in reality becoming C4 Cactus 2024, which favours well-being on board thanks to more significant changes.

I had announced it a few months ago and the previous photos offered had not confirmed it, but this time it's official, the C4 Cactus 2024 receives the new 10-inch multimedia screen of the C3 and C3 Aircross, which also receives their multimedia system allowing wireless access to Android Auto or Apple CarPlay, a leap in modernity for this new C4 Cactus which adds some new features such as inductive smartphone charging, three new USB sockets: One under the central screen, one in front of the new storage compartment between the front seats and one in the second row, which is equipped with a cable tidy like the new C3, made possible by an all-new central console. The latter now has a sliding armrest at the front for greater comfort for the front passengers, who can adjust the armrest and rest their elbows, whatever their position.

Citroën has taken advantage of this minor update to improve the C4 Cactus' standard equipment, which now includes: automatic air conditioning, keyless entry and start, alarm, 10" touchscreen with new multimedia system, electric windows and mirrors and roof bars.

More comfortable, more stylish, more connected, the new Citroën C4 Cactus 2024 is also more affordable as its price range changes and now offers four trim levels:

  • Live 1.6 automatic from 106,990 Reals or 20,100 €.

  • Feel 1.6 automatic from 110,990 Reals or €20,850

  • Feel Pack 1.6 automatic transmission from 115,990 Reals or €21,800

  • Shine Pack 1.6 automatic transmission from 129,990 Reals or €24,400

In conclusion, this restyling is more of a major update than a real second version, but it allows the C4 Cactus to improve its technological content and equipment, while increasing its comfort at a more affordable price, which should allow the C4 Cactus to return to the race after having sunk in recent months precisely because of this updated version, which has disrupted production. After a C3 that seems to have been released in Brazil, and before the C3 Aircross, the C4 Cactus is getting a makeover in the hope that it will find its way back to the top. I look forward to seeing you in the July magazine, which will have more details on this update, as well as lots of other information.
