Citroën strengthens its presence in Japan with the opening of a new dealership in Takamatsu

Citroën continues to expand its network in Japan with the opening of a new dealership in Takamatsu, just a few weeks after its arrival in Obu. This expansion demonstrates the brand's ambition to grow more strongly on the Japanese market.



New multi-brand dealership in Takamatsu

On 14 February 2025, Citroën and Royal Car Service, Citroën's official distributor within the Stellantis Group, inaugurated "Citroën Takamatsu". Located in the city of Takamatsu, this new dealership is the only one in Kagawa Prefecture. It benefits from a strategic location opposite "Airport Street" (National Route 193), surrounded by numerous commercial facilities. The opening was celebrated with a two-day inaugural event on 15 and 16 February, giving visitors the opportunity to discover the brand's latest innovations. This new dealership is a multi-brand dealership within Stellantis, which allows the group to have a large showroom area at a lower cost for each of the brands that make it stand out from the rest. Citroën Takamatsu is the second dealership in Japan to inaugurate the new brand signature.


A dealership with the new brand identity

The Takamatsu dealership is the second in Japan to adopt Citroën's new visual identity, incorporating the brand's new logo on the façade. The exterior wall, illuminated from the inside, highlights the logo and attracts the attention of passers-by. The entrance, equipped with a large awning, offers maximum comfort even in rainy weather.


Inside, the showroom features a light grey tiled exhibition area, carpeted meeting rooms and a lounge area. The decoration integrates emblematic elements of the brand, such as the double chevron wall emblem, a neon "NEW" logo sign and a "Bonjour" pendant on the ceiling. The atmosphere is warm, with touches of bright orange. A merchandising corner, a large screen showing the latest Citroën videos and a children's area complete the layout, creating a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere.



The opening of the Takamatsu dealership marks a new milestone in Citroën's expansion in Japan. After a year of communication in 2024, particularly around the Berlingo, the brand seems determined to continue this momentum in 2025. This new dealership, with its modern design and comprehensive services, strengthens Citroën's presence on the Japanese market and allows it to enter a new prefecture where the brand was previously completely absent.
