The Citroën C3 2025 in red

After a year 2024 marked by excellent results in Italy, Citroën starts 2025 with the same dynamism. The last year of marketing for the old C3 ended with remarkable performances and this trend continues with the arrival of the new Citroën C3. In February, the entire range performed very well, confirming the brand's strengthened presence on the Italian market.

New Citroën C3: impressive figures

The success of the new Citroën C3 is undeniable. In February, it rose to third place in overall sales in Italy and remains the best-selling petrol car on the market. In the electric version, the ë-C3 took the lead in sales of electric vehicles (BEV) with a market share of 8.96%, beating well-established competitor models.

It must be said that Citroën is strongly supporting the ë-C3, even though it is one of the most affordable electric cars in Italy with the "Ellettrico Facile" plan, which allows you to purchase an ë-C3 with an initial payment of €11,950, with no monthly payments for two years, followed by an optional final payment. This solution makes electric mobility more accessible and encourages the adoption of zero-emission models.

A range that performs in all segments

The entire Citroën range performed well in February. Despite the arrival of the Fiat Topolino, the Citroën Ami maintained its position as the leader in the quadricycle market. It confirmed its attractiveness with continued strong demand from both private individuals and urban mobility professionals.

Sales to individuals are particularly important for Citroën in Italy, as they reflect customers' real support for the brand's offer. In February, Citroën's market share reached 4.7%, an increase of 0.2 points compared to the previous year. Furthermore, in the private sales segment, it rose to 5.4%, an increase of 0.5 points, putting Citroën in fifth place nationally.

In 2024, Citroën was the only Stellantis brand to make progress in Italy. The start of 2025 confirms this upward trend. With the new C3 enjoying great success and models such as the Ami continuing to establish themselves, Citroën looks set for a record year on the Italian market. The brand's commitment to more accessible and sustainable mobility has been well received by consumers, heralding an increasingly favourable trend in the coming months.
