Citroën sees sharp growth in Poland: new range wins over eastern Europe

The Citroën C3 in red

At Passionnément Citroën, we frequently share the performance of the brand in major European markets. However, it is equally important to analyze performance in countries with smaller volumes, as they reveal a great deal about how the new product range is perceived globally. This is precisely the case in Poland, where Citroën is showing strong growth for both the month of November and the 2025 year-to-date results.

A remarkable 53% increase in november 2025

The Polish market is showing a growing interest in the latest Citroën models. For November 2025, the brand recorded a spectacular increase in registrations, with a 53% jump compared to November 2024. A total of 926 units, including both passenger cars and light commercial vehicles, were delivered to Polish customers during the month.

This success is driven by the brand's newest key models. The new Citroën C3, a cornerstone of the current strategy, sold 267 units in November. It is followed by the new C3 Aircross, which has seen increasing success since its spring launch, with 207 units sold during the month. This compact SUV, which can accommodate up to seven people, is proving popular due to its versatility and attractive pricing, starting at 83,800 PLN. This monthly surge is part of a broader positive trend observed throughout the year.

Eleven months of continuous success and market share gain

Over the first eleven months of 2025, Citroën confirmed its solid position in Poland with a total of 9,943 vehicles sold. Compared to the same period in 2024, this represents a net increase of 2,231 units, or a 29% overall growth. This performance has allowed the brand to increase its market share by 0.29 percentage points, strengthening its position against tough competition.

The brand's success is particularly notable in the electric vehicle segment. The new ë-C3 has become the leader in the electric city car segment (B-category) with 1,599 units sold since January, capturing a 37% market share in its category. Paweł Bielecki, Director of the Citroën brand in Poland, highlighted this positive momentum:

"I am delighted to see that more and more Polish customers are choosing Citroën models. The new C5 Aircross has just arrived in our showrooms: a family SUV that combines a distinctive design with exceptional travel comfort in a modern interior. This model is available at an attractive price, starting from 132,900 PLN (31 500€)"

To further build customer trust, Citroën offers the "Citroën We Care" extended warranty program in Poland. Similar to the French market, the entire range is covered for major components (engine, gearbox, transmission) for 8 years or 160,000 km. This warranty, which can be activated during scheduled maintenance within the official Citroën network, provides significant peace of mind for new owners.

A successful geographic diversification strategy in Europe

While the sales volumes in Poland or Austria may seem smaller than in major hubs, they reveal a significant shift in the brand's European footprint. Traditionally strong in Southern Europe (France, Spain, Italy), Citroën is now demonstrating an impressive ability to grow in Eastern Europe.

This expansion to the East makes the brand more resilient and stable by reducing its reliance on a few key markets. The Polish results prove that the new range—focused on Citroën Advanced Comfort®, bold design, and fair pricing—has a universal appeal. This ability to attract consumers across all of Europe is an excellent sign for the brand's global market share moving forward.
