Citroën C3 Aircross: new special edition in Japan

If Citroën's news focuses on the second generation of the C3 Aircross in India and Brazil, the brand has not forgotten the first generation, which is entering its last full year of marketing before its next renewal. 2024 thus begins with a new high-end special edition for the current C3 Aircross, a special edition simply called Cuir.

Unveiled on 11 January, this new special edition of the C3 Aircross was immediately launched on the Japanese market and has the unique feature of matching body and interior colours. This special Cuir range is also the last opportunity for Japanese consumers to benefit from the khaki grey body colour, which will soon be discontinued.

Inside, the C3 Aircross Leather offers a combination of pale grey and beige leather on the seats, creating a chic and soothing interior, while the dashboard is finished in beige Tep leather.

The C3 Aircross Cuir will be available with two petrol and diesel engines at the following prices 3,918,000 yen (€24,600) for the petrol version and 4,100,000 yen (€25,800) for the diesel version.

2023 was a particularly active year for Citroën in Japan with many new products, especially the Berlingo, the brand's best-seller. This had a positive impact, as Citroën increased its sales on the Japanese market by 4.7% to 5,109 units sold, putting it in 25th place in terms of sales, ahead of Fiat. The year 2024 begins under the same auspices with this new C3 Aircross Cuir, which allows Japanese consumers to benefit for the last time from the khaki grey colour while enjoying a chic interior that reinforces the comfort so dear to the brand.
