While the press tests will start in a few days and its arrival in the dealerships is scheduled for February-March, the new Citroën C3 Aircross is undergoing some changes at the beginning of the year on the French market. Just like its little sister, the C3, Citroën's new urban SUV has a slightly revised range and a slight price increase.
A range with three trim levels
Like the C3, the new Citroën C3 Aircross is available in two trim levels: You at the entry level and Max at the top. Between the two, customers could opt for an option package called Pack Plus, available only on the You trim level, which made it possible to find a happy medium between the more basic You version and the very well-equipped top-of-the-range Max trim level.
From the beginning of 2025, Citroën France is changing things up and offering a range of three trim levels, You, Plus and Max, to ensure greater consistency with the brand's other models, but above all to make things easier for consumers, who now have a choice between three specific trim levels. Otherwise, the range remains the same: the Turbo 100 version is available in the You and Plus versions, the hybrid version is only available in the Plus and Max versions, and only the 100% electric version is available in all three versions.
Slight price increase
As with the C3, the new C3 Aircross has seen a slight price increase for the start of the year, with a general increase of €300 on all versions, but only for the thermal and hybrid engines, the 100% electric versions remain the same price.
This price increase does not affect the level of equipment, which remains the same as before. The new C3 Aircross 1.2 Turbo 100 now starts at €19,700 for the You version and €21,800 for the Plus version, the Max version is not available with this engine.
As for the hybrid engine, prices start at €25,800 in the Plus version and €27,900 in the Max version, the You version not being available with this type of engine.
In conclusion, the C3 Aircross is experiencing a slight price increase, six months after the opening of orders for the brand's new urban CUV and despite its absence from dealerships, affected by the production problems of the new C3, now resolved. However, despite this increase, the new C3 Aircross remains as competitive in the segment as it is almost the same price as the Dacia Duster and much cheaper than its other competitors with, for example, the Renault Symbioz Hybrid 145 being €7,600 more expensive.
