A few weeks before the opening of orders, the new C3 Aircross continues its little revelations which allow a better understanding of the range offered by Citroën for its compact SUV in India. After the first press tests which showed the range of engines available for the C3 Aircross, here is a look back at the range of colours and personalisation options.
The new C3 Aircross is the second stage of Citroën's development project to gain a foothold in Asia, particularly in India and Indonesia, but also in Latin America. The C3 Aircross, which will go on sale in a few weeks' time, is a 4m32-long SUV designed to be spacious, comfortable and accessible. Only available with a 110 Puretech petrol engine mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox, the range of this new C3 Aircross is likely to be limited at first, before perhaps changing with the introduction of an automatic gearbox.
If the range of engines is therefore very limited, this does not mean that personalisation, another of Citroën's strengths, will not be very extensive. In fact, the press tests organised by the brand at the beginning of August made it possible to learn more about the colours and personalisation that the brand intends to offer on its new model, which has become its speciality.
When it goes on sale, the new C3 Aircross will offer around ten possible combinations, with 4 single-tone and 6 two-tone colours and a roof that can be white or blue depending on the body colour chosen. Inside, the new C3 Aircross will have two different colours for its dashboard strip, namely anodised grey or anodised bronze. But like its little sister, the C3, the new C3 Aircross will have accessory packs that allow you to customise its appearance, particularly at the level of the lower ventilation grille, which can receive two white elements as shown in the image below:
The new Citroën C3 Aircross has solid assets to make a good place for itself in this hotly contested segment, starting with generous dimensions that guarantee good interior space, offering a large boot of up to 511 litres and the possibility of 7-seater versions. The C3 Aircross is also much more upmarket than the C3, with a 7-inch instrument cluster that can be personalised in three modes, a 10.2-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and 35 Citroën applications via MyCitroën Connect. Livable, comfortable, connected, it is on the price that the C3 Aircross will be able to take the advantage over its competitors, its local manufacture in India should allow it to have an advantage that we will know in a few days when the marketing will be launched.
