The Citroën ë-C3 for Véolia in the Czech Republic

The latest generation of the Citroën C3 has successfully followed in the footsteps of its predecessor, recording an increase in sales in Europe at the end of the year and taking first place on the French market in January. This performance confirms the model's appeal, even among professionals. The latest example: Citroën won a tender in the Czech Republic with a major order from Veolia for its 100% electric version.

Veolia chooses the Citroën ë-C3 to green its fleet.

The Veolia Energie ČR group, a long-standing partner of the Emil Frey distributor in the Czech Republic, has just purchased 21 Citroën ë-C3 to strengthen its fleet of electric vehicles. This decision is part of a sustainable strategy aimed at decarbonising its travel while optimising operating costs.

These new Citroën ë-C3 were chosen in the YOU version, equipped with an 83 kW (113 hp) engine and a 44 kWh battery. This choice, the result of an ideal compromise between autonomy, performance and price, will facilitate the introduction of electric mobility within the company. Veolia Energie employees will use these vehicles on a daily basis, relying on an internal charging infrastructure already in place at the group's sites.

"This successful fleet cooperation is a great example of how electric mobility makes sense both from a social responsibility perspective and as a profitable business management tool," says Roman Kraus, Head of Fleet Sales for Emil Frey Group Brands in the Czech Republic. "In terms of the ratio of car size, battery capacity and purchase price, the ë-C3 model is one of the most affordable cars on the market today".

Further proof of the success of the Citroën C3

With its attractive price positioning, it appeals to both private and professional customers. This order from Veolia illustrates this dynamic, which has already been observed in several European markets. In Belgium, Citroën recently delivered several units of the new C3, confirming the growing interest of companies in the new generation.

Accessible, modern and with a range adapted to urban and suburban needs, the ë-C3 is positioned as an attractive alternative to thermal models. The promise of an uncompromising and affordable electric vehicle perfectly meets the expectations of companies looking to improve their carbon footprint without breaking the bank.

By offering a 100% electric version for less than €20,000 (after government subsidies), Citroën has responded to the needs of the market. Combining accessibility and efficiency, the ë-C3 offers individuals and companies the opportunity to enter the world of electric mobility without breaking the bank. With these latest orders, the brand with the chevrons confirms that its bet on offering an electric car that is both affordable and functional is a winner. The Citroën ë-C3 is therefore a strategic model in the energy transition of the automotive sector.
