While the new C3 Aircross was launched on 29 November in Brazil, where it is available with a single 130 hp engine, Citroën's new urban SUV has a different range of engines in Argentina. Citroën is thus following the same strategy as for the C3, with an offer adapted to consumers in each country.

Citroën differentiates the engines according to the countries in South America in order to adapt to the countries and the needs of these consumers. If the C3 Aircross has a unique engine range in Brazil, consisting of the 1.0 Turbo 130 engine combined with a CVT gearbox, it has a slightly different engine range in Argentina, where it will be offered with two engines. In the entry-level and mid-range versions, the C3 Aircross will be available with a 1.6-litre petrol engine producing 115 bhp, mated only to a 5-speed manual gearbox. Finally, the top-of-the-range version, called Shine, will have the engine offered in Brazil, namely the 1.0-litre turbo, which here produces 120 bhp and is always paired only with the CVT automatic transmission, which simulates 7 virtual gears.

There are also differences in the equipment levels between the C3 Aircross sold in Brazil and the Argentinian version. As in Brazil, there are three trim levels, but the new European nomenclature is not used and the old ones are retained. On the entry level we find the Live version with five seats, 16-inch steel wheels with hubcaps, air conditioning, electric steering, stability control and dual airbags. This Live version is only available with 5 seats, the 7 seat version is not available.

The core trim level is called Feel Pack and is available in 5 or 7 seats. It is more generous with side airbags, LED daytime running lights, 16-inch alloy wheels, rear parking sensors, roof bars, electric mirrors, a 7-inch digital dashboard, Citroën Connect with a 10-inch screen, a multifunction steering wheel and rear seat air vents.

Finally, the top-of-the-range Shine trim adds 17-inch diamond-cut wheels, front fog lights, glossy black roof bars, a black roof (white is optional), leather upholstery, speed limiter and cruise control to the Feel Pack.

If the new Citroën C3 Aircross is already being marketed in Brazil, its official launch in Argentina will take place at the beginning of 2024, which is why the prices have not yet been revealed, but everything suggests that they will be very accessible, as the brand offers with the C3, the cheapest car in Argentina. Citroën is offering two engines for this C3 Aircross in Argentina, unlike in Brazil, with two transmission choices, showing how well the brand knows how to adapt its vehicles to the needs of consumers in each country, but also how flexible this SmartCar platform can be.
