The beginning of the year is a time of change for Citroën: after the change of marketing director in France, the brand has a new director in Germany in the person of Patrick Dinger, previously director of the brand in Austria. .
With immediate effect, Patrick Dinger is taking over the management of Citroën's German activities, replacing Wolfram Knobling, who is taking on a new role within Stellantis. Patrick Dinger, 41, will report to Lars Bialkowski, the new German head of Stellantis.
Bialkowski said: "Patrick Dinger, a proven expert with many years of experience in national and international sales, is taking over Citroën's activities in Germany. With him, we want to further strengthen Citroën's position in the German market and continue the transformation to the ë brand. At the same time, I would like to thank Wolfram Knobling for his successful work."
Patrick Dinger, who holds a Masters in International Management from SH Berlin, began his career in the automotive industry in 2008 at Mercedes-AMG in the Marketing & Dealer Network Development department. In 2014, Dinger took over as Head of Dealer Network Development in the DACH region for Maserati, before becoming Head of Germany at DS Automobiles in August 2016. Patrick Dinger has been Head of Citroën Austria since October 2019.
