Citroën is starting the new year with a bang in Greece, with two of its vehicles in the top 10 on the market. A good performance for the chevron brand, which benefits from a complete range to develop its market share in the country.

The Greek car market registered 10,633 units in January 2023 and Citroën therefore has two models in the top 10 on this market, including the C3, which is in second place with 771 units, behind the Opel Corsa and its 1,056 units sold. The versatile herringbone sedan is ahead of the Toyota Yaris (646 units). The top 10 is completed by the following cars: Hyundai i20, Hyundai i10, Peugeot 208, VW T-Roc, Suzuki Vitara, Peugeot 3008 and Citroën C3 Aircross. Citroën had two models in the top 10 and performed well in terms of company sales, with the C3 and C3 Aircross in the top 10 with 575 units sold.

As far as commercial vehicles are concerned, Citroën's sales are also going well, with 790 vehicles, making it second on the market behind Opel (1,220 units) but ahead of Peugeot (690 units). The figures are not detailed enough to know the market shares of each brand, but I will come back to this as soon as they are published.

With these results, the C3 confirms that its success is not limited to France, but goes far beyond, just like the C3 Aircross which performed very well on the Greek market in January. As detailed figures by model are not yet available, it is impossible for me to see the results of the other models, but Citroën presents the entire range in Greece, from the AMI to the C5 X, and this complete range should ensure continued growth in this country.
