Big news for the Citroën C4 in the United Kingdom, which after receiving a new high-end finish specific to electric versions called ë-series, is reviewing its range of finishes while tightening it around only three levels, giving there a possible overview of what the brand recently promised.

C4:

In fact, during the speech of Thierry Koskas, the brand's new CEO, Citroën announced its intention to reduce the number of versions of its models to three, while at the same time reducing the number of options or option packs to 5 choices per version. excluding personalisation.

This is exactly what is happening with the ë-C4 in the UK, as Citroën has reviewed the range of its compact electric saloon on the occasion of the opening of orders for the new ë-series finish. As a result, the C4 range is now composed as follows: Sense (Feel), C-series Edition and ë-series.

The entry-level models (Sense) are already well equipped, with 18-inch diamond-patterned wheels, a 10-inch central monitor, an Urban Gray interior with grey "Chevron" fabric and effect fabric seats, black leather, automatic headlights and windscreen wipers, keyless entry and front and rear parking sensors.

C Series trim levels add the new multimedia system with Connected Navigation and a 3-year subscription to real-time speed camera and traffic alerts. Comfort is enhanced by heated front seats, while safety is further enhanced by a rear view camera and radar-assisted Active Safety Brake, which can detect cyclists and pedestrians.

Finally, the ë-series finishes the range with two-tone paint, black wheels and a dark chrome pack, while the interior is finished in Alcantara.

Prices for the electric C4 start from £31,995 (€37,000) for Sense, £34,495 (€39,970) for C-Series and £37,195 (€43,100) for ë. -Series with the new electric motor.

C4 X:

For its part, the new C4 X 4-door family saloon also sees its range revised around three levels of finishes different from those of the ë-C4. In fact, the C4 X range starts with the Sense finish (Feel), then the intermediate finish is the Shine finish, while the ë-series finish becomes the top of the range replacing Shine Plus (Shine Pack), level of consistency and simplicity so there is still a lot of work to be done...

The finishes offer more or less a level of equipment quite similar to those of the ë-C4 range, but above all Citroën offers the ë-C4 X at the same price as the ë-C4, the brand therefore offers the 5-door version and the 4-door version at identical prices with identical equipment, which makes the C4 X extremely interesting since it stretches over 4m60.

In conclusion, the range of C4 and C4 X is therefore revised to be tightened around only three levels of finishes, even if the names of the finishes are different between the two models. However, these finishes are different on the electric versions than on the thermal versions, where the range revolves around 5 more classic finishes, namely Sense (Feel), Sense Plus (Feel Pack , Shine, Shine Plus (Shine Pack) and ë-Series.
