The Citroën C3 Aircross in electric version

Following the success of the previous edition, Citroën announces the renewal of its partnership with the Urban Green programme in Italy. This documentary series, broadcast on Rai Due, explores urban transformation and new forms of sustainable mobility. Throughout the 10 episodes of this new season, the Chevrolet brand will showcase its range of electric vehicles, reaffirming its commitment to more responsible mobility.

A programme focused on sustainability and future mobility

Urban Green is an innovative show presented by Bianca Maria Santoro and Mario Acampa that analyses the evolution of cities through the lens of sustainable development and new technologies. Produced by Etra Srl, the series presents concrete solutions for greener and smarter urbanisation.

Citroën will use this platform to illustrate how its range of electrified vehicles meets the current challenges of sustainable mobility. During the 10 episodes, the brand will visit various Italian cities such as Turin, Genoa, Reggio Emilia, Rome and Milan, presenting a specific model at each stop. This immersive approach will allow viewers to discover not only the vehicles themselves, but also related initiatives, such as the "AMI Generation" programme against school bullying.

Citroën C3 Aircross electric: a unique offer in the B-SUV segment

The first episode, filmed in Turin, features Citroën's first all-electric compact SUV: the C3 Aircross. This model is unique in the B-SUV segment, offering an affordable electric alternative perfectly suited to the needs of urban drivers.

Far from focusing solely on its technical specifications, the brand will highlight the accessibility and ergonomics of its electric model. The all-electric C3 Aircross embodies Citroën's commitment to democratising clean mobility without compromising on comfort or practicality. This approach is in line with the brand's strategy in Italy, where the market share of electric vehicles is still low (5%), but where Citroën already stands out with more than 10% of its sales being electric.

This impact is driven in particular by the Citroën ë-C3, the best-selling electric model in Italy. With the launch of the electric C3 Aircross, the brand hopes to strengthen this momentum and increase the share of electric sales in the country.

By renewing its partnership with Urban Green, Citroën confirms its ambition to play a major role on the Italian market. The success achieved in 2024 is set to continue in 2025, driven by attractive models and a strategy focused on the accessibility of electric mobility.

With the launch of the C3 Aircross electric car and an increased presence at high-profile events, Citroën intends to capitalise on its unique positioning. This momentum should enable the brand to continue its strong performance on the Italian market and support the growing adoption of electric vehicles in the country.
